I haven't exactly taken very many pictures in the last few days, so sorry if this is a little bit of a disappointing post. Actually, I'm not that sorry, but I'd like you to think I was trying to be sincere :)
The last time I blogged I was somewhere in Hong Kong. Now, I am somewhere in Malaysia. Snaps for Aliey *snap snap snap* hahaha omg that was so gay.
My weekend in Kuala Lumpur can basically be summed up in 3 words: food, food, food. Omg, I don't think I've eaten so much food in... well, those who know me know that I've been eating cabbage soup the past semester. Mmmmmmmmm...
We stayed at the Marriott hotel on Jalan Bukit Bintang, right in the heart of the city.
It was a super nice hotel too!
My parents ditched me and my brother, leaving us in a suite to ourselves. Thank god they gave us two queen sized beds.
Ok, so the only photos I took in KL were either lewd or morbid. I have posted both for your viewing pleasure. You're welcome!
Hehehe my brother pointed out this picture at one of the restaurants we had dinner at: these dumplings kinda look like..ummm... Buddy (my brother's dog) when he gets a lipstick :S how awkward. I don't think I'd be able to eat these if they were given to me at a yum cha, I would be laughing too hard.
oooooh!! fancy christmas tree in my lobby!!!
so excited!! this post is slightly christmas themed, in an effort to gently ease everyone into my annual christmas obsession
dont want to scare everyone off too quick ;)

I think he spent a good 10 minutes trying to get this photo right
crazy runs in our family
satays, coconut rice, laksa, chilli sambal, curry, banana leaves...

I went to visit a Chinese graveyard while I was in Kuala Lumpur. I should probably clarify that this wasn't a shitzngigglez trip. I went because my grandfather's ashes are kept there and I had to pay my respects in a traditional sense.

It was fully creepy. Out the back of the graveyard there was a building full of old urns containing ashes and photos of the dead. Alot of the urns are covered with dust, and some have gone completely black over time. The place looked alot creepier before someone found the light switch...

I think the weather reflected the scene (real life pathetic fallacy!!) When I got to the cemetary it started to pour down with rain, then came the thunder and lightning...

My grandpa and uncle are stored next to each other in matching yellow urns.
Offerings to the dead and to the God who oversees the dead
